I am so much more comfortable just doing my writing rather than talking about it. I’m never sure what to talk about. What to leave in, what to leave out. There is a lot to explain, and some that’s too much. Mostly though, the stories will be about Scarlet Ryder, a spunky headstrong woman born in the mid/late 19th century. In the first book, Scarlet learns she is a vampire.
Scarlet Ryder gets her name of course from Little red riding hood. A base point for the series will be fairy tales with vampires. Obviously such is just the tip of the iceberg. The stories will be pushed to the brink, almost unrecognizable from the original. I hope my readers have a lot of fun trying to guess which story is incorporated into the book they are reading.
I also hope to add small hints and historical clues. Something where you learn a bit of something that happened. if the reader wants to leave it there, so be it. But there is a lot of interesting events in history,Well worth knowing.
Mystery, action, adventure, suspense, romance and of course, VAMPIRES. What could be more fun?
